Hey there, I’m Kelsey! I’m currently a junior Film Production major with an emphasis in editing and a minor in LGBTQ+ Studies here at Chapman University. I am extremely passionate about LGBTQ+ representation in the media, it’s just something I get fired up about. Being a lesbian myself, I’m a bit bias. I tend to focus only on lesbian representation; I hope to learn about more diverse and intersected representation in media.

You’d think because I’m a film production major I’d love movies, but TV shows have my heart. I find them to be more progressive than film. My goal is to combine my two passions and create stories in which LGBTQ+ characters are represented in a good light and aren’t written solely on negative stereotypes.
